Cover magazine

This is the first exercise I completed in Print media class. I'm honestly not too great with technology so I tried to keep up to the best of my ability. The first thing that I did was copy an image from the internet. Afterwards, using Adobe photoshop, I changed the colors to CMYK which are the colors that are used on print. I then changed the image to duotone which gave the picture a blue and yellow combination. I then cut out the the image of the little girl and pasted the duotoned girl on to the CMYK flower images. Using the eraser, I cleaned up the image making sure the little girl fit in perfectly with the background. when I was satisfied with the image, I was done and I kept the layer with the final results.

I know it's not too complicated or artistic, but it's only the first class. I'll get there!
